　　聚乙烯，簡(jiǎn)稱PE，是乙烯經(jīng)聚合制得的一種熱塑性樹脂，聚乙烯無臭，，手感似蠟，具有優(yōu)良的耐低溫性能，化學(xué)穩(wěn)定性好，能耐大多數(shù)酸堿的侵蝕，常溫下不溶于一般溶劑，吸水性小，電絕緣性優(yōu)良，具有的作用有：

Polyethylene, abbreviated as PE, is a thermoplastic resin produced by polymerization of ethylene. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, and has a wax like feel. It has excellent low-temperature resistance, good chemical stability, and can withstand most acids and alkalis. It is insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption, and excellent electrical insulation properties. Its functions include:

　　1.高壓聚乙烯： 一半以上用于薄膜制品，其次是管材、注射成型制品、電線包裹層等；

1. High pressure polyethylene: More than half of it is used for thin film products, followed by pipes, injection molded products, wire wrapping layers, etc;

　　2.中低、壓聚乙烯： 以注射成型制品及中空制品為主；

2. Low to medium pressure polyethylene: mainly used for injection molded products and hollow products;

　　3.超高壓聚乙烯： 由于超高分子聚乙烯優(yōu)異的綜合性能，可作為工程塑料使用。

3. Ultra high pressure polyethylene: Due to its excellent comprehensive properties, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene can be used as an engineering plastic.
